Apple Blossom Time!

I can't believe how busy we have been....!!!!

Check out Austin's first day of pre-school!!

Thus, I haven't posted in awhile...it's like my laundry and definatley on the back burner. Saturday we enjoyed the kiddy parade with Chels, Chris, Cohen and Wendy. Sunday we all got the flu, but the worse one was Alyssa...POOR BABY :*( As any mommy knows it's no good when your kiddos are sick. The drywall is finished and we're starting to pain the inside of our house. All of the colors are chosen and we're rocking and rollin.

*Did I ever mention that I am color challenged??*

Getting myself dressed in the morning is scary enough, but ME....choosing the colors for a whole house....well it's just about devistating.

Tomarrow we're off to Spokane. I rented a car so we can get our master bath tub home. We'll get to see the beloved Niece and Nephew......maybe hit a little Olive Garden Who knows.!?!?

Hope this finds everyone healthy and happy :)

Chocolate Cookies!

Yay for Chocolate Cookies!

Auntie Megan made some DELICIOUS cookies while she was home this weekend and we have pictures to prove it! Even this morning I caught Austin being sneaky and climbing up on the counter to take a bite out of one of these yummy cookies!!

Matt has been working VERY hard on the house lately, and I don't know where he's pulling this from. He's up early out at the house, then goes to work, and then goes and works until late! It will be sooo refreshing when this is all finished!! We miss our daddy!! Things are still in progress at the house, the drywaller's started and have most of upstairs done.

Becca is such a Blessing and has offered to watch Alyssa tomarrow because it's a BIG day for the house! Our Curb is getting cut, our appliances are arriving, garage doors installed, and lot's and lot's of work! I can't wait for us to be in! Barbeques, and parties are in our near future!!

What I love about Thursday!!

Well today has been an exceptional day! I have always said with the kids we either have a REALLY good day, or a really BAD day. And today has been wonderful!

Here's 5 things that have happened today!

*Austin started his first day of Pre-school!!

(He was so ready for this, and did terrific! He didn't even cry. He just said, Bye mom, see you in a bit and gave me one of those gigantic hugs that I have grown to LOVE!!!)

*The Insullation company has about wrapped up their job at our house, which once again means things are moving along.

*ok, this isn't today, but last night. I thought Austin was taking a nap and I heard a HUGE thud. So I snuck upstairs and when I reached the top of the stairs I had an overwhelming smell of Vick's Vapor Rub. I went in Austin's room and it looked like he had caked Lard in his hair! Needless to say 5 washes later, we ended up cutting his hair. See pictures!!

*We finally came to a decision on our hardwood floors....and they are BEAUTIFUL

*Shana called for a playdate, and I forgot to call her back and tell her that Austin was spent! I am sooo sorry Shana. See you Monday though?? I am so lucky that she respects what a FLAKE I am!!

Okay well hope everyone has a wonderful day!

A world of our own

Well Craig and Mary started off on their two week Journey last Friday. Hitting Rome, Tuscany, and Venice, and we're really excited for them.
It's been nice being the only ones home for awhile, and I have actually stayed home almost all day everyday with the kids.
Our house is starting to move forward finally. We had our electrical inspection on Monday, and that passed with flying colors, and then our framing inspection was on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that inspection did not pass. After a few hours of being a single mom, and Matt working major overtime. He was able to get everything done last night for another inspection this morning....and this time we PASSED!!! YAY! So insullation is getting ready to go in today! PROGRESS!!!
Austin went to check out a pre-school yesterday and he absolutely loved it! He jumped right in with the kiddos and even got to visit with a Komodo Dragon or A komo dragon as he puts it. Pretty cute! He starts pre-school tomarrow and we're really excited for him!
